error in configuring glibc at 6.11(chapter) of lfs6.1.1

hi all, i got the following error on debian host system. ../glibc-2.3.4/configure --prefix=/usr --disable-profi le --enable-add-ons --enable-kernel=2.6.0 --libexecdir=/usr/lib/glibc checking build system type... i686-pc-linux-gnuoldld checking host system type... i686-pc

LFS-6.1.1 init fail

hi i had just installed LFS-6.1.1 from the LiveCD as host, when the system is booting its looks like the call to the script that populate the /dev is missing, the system can not boot, the networking script dose get called and so the syslog one, any one have any suggestions? thanks -- http://

OOo2 Build Error
