I Have been going through LFS 6.1 using Knoppix 3.9 on
my hard drive as the host. open a shell session using
KDE's Konsole (which by default are non-login shells,
but I used the 'su - lfs' command in Ch.4 anyway). The
packages and patches I have on the LFS LiveCD. I've

Works fine on the new machine. So maybe something went wrong during
i also found some packages to be incomplete while
irecently built my lfs6.1. i don't remember the
package names. i resolved them by downloading from
their original sources. there showed some
configuration error while i did ./configure for
automake and autoconf. i resolved it with the same
method.
