ext3 for grub?

My system has ext3 file system on the "boot" partition containing grub and the kernel images. This should be OK for LFS boot up, correct? If so, "has_ journal" should be added to the list of acceptable filesystem features in section 2.3. - Joe PS: There are instructions here on how to remove
