GCC-4.4.1 will be announced shortly.
There's a report that GCC-4.4.0 fails to compile at least 'dillo'
from BLFS [0], even though it obviously compiles LFS-6.5 without
issues, and GCC-4.4.1 contains the fix for this bug.

I vote for inclusion. The more stable LFS as a foundation is the better
IMH
I use LFS in real life applications, I hope this gets included...

Hi all,
I'd like to announce that Wayne Blaszczyk has accepted a position as a BLFS
Editor. Wayne has recently been sending in patches for the BLFS book to add
new packages.
Wayne will make a fine addition to the BLFS team and I encourage everyone

I would like to suggest a small addition to the book's base
/etc/resolv.conf file. In some (many) cases, LFSers may find that their
machines need to be on a network with multiple domains and they want to
search them locally. If we add "search " to the cat
command script and then a little bit
