last night i run a complete rebuild, the 1st perl run was a failure, the
second successfull.
crypt.h is installed, and ldd perl shows:
linux-gate.so.1 => (0xb7fd2000)
libnsl.so.1 => /lib/libnsl.so.1 (0xb7fb7
