I'm trying to wrap my head around what is possible with only declarative
settings in netifd / uci for VPN connections.
At the moment it looks like scripts in /etc/hotplug.d/iface are the only
solution for my setup: A Freifunk VPN as a netifd proto i.e. wireguard):

I'm not sure if that's a bug or inevitable so I'd thought I'd ask here
about the position from the LEDE devs/community.
At the moment 32MB devices are pretty much unusable with LEDE and I'm
not sure why.
