Yes Ni-DAQ 7.1 was the fix
guess the original instal hicoughed or something
much easier to upgrade NI DAQ than reinstall everything

I am upgrading an old system. I have Loaded LabVIEW 7, NI-DAQ 7.0.0f8,
MAX 3.0.0.3014
Under NI-DAQ Tradional the PCI-E series daq card shows up and looks OK
from the test screens. I right click on NI-DAQ Trad add an SCXI-1001
and configure the 9 SCXI modules (1120s, 1102, 1163Rs, 1160, and a
breadb

My 16E-4 daq card shows up under both NIDAQ traditional, and under
NIDAQmx (with more info under mx)
when I right click on "Devices and Interfaces" and add an SCXI-1001 it
gets added to the mx

I am trying to send an email from within LabVIEW 7 using the SMTP Send
Multiple Attachments.vi
I need to attach an MS Excel file (.xls)
The recipient gets the email with attachment, but the file is
corrupted (invalid format) and can not be opened. Is there an example
of how to accomplish this?
