Dear LATEX2html developers,
thanks for great software. I am using latex2html to convert even
large latex documents with lots of math in it to html now for some time.
I stuck into problem with the \text{} statement within equations. In a
certain context it causes latex2html to produce lat
arguments (within square brackets) don't seem to be
supported
\psfrag{NOT DONE YET}{PSFRAG WORKS...}
, however does work.
Is there a fix for this? The "fast" way would be if "[]" where just
ignored, but I'm not really a perl hacker so I don't know how to fix
that. Any ideas?

The cause of this is that I used different replacements on the SAME
eps-file causing the reuse.
Ps. I apoloqize for posting my original question twice. Since I use a
different mail account than the one registered to the mailing list I
first thought it had bounced. Ds.

to fix this I can test it
on my system.

What is going on? Can anyone explain?
I'd be very grateful for any help, thank you!

tml-init did not return a true value at /usr/bin/latex2html line 183"
Omitting the line keeps transparency switched on.
As a second alternative, I tried to generate gif instead of png. Unfortunately
pstoimg does not support gif. Is there a way to configure pstoimg so that it
would support gif?
hon I would have assumed you wouldn't even have to
actively do anything with the encoding.
Best,
Stefan

ly inline-math appears a little bit deminuished, but that's
acceptable.
The online manual, which was also produced by LaTeX2HTML, looks much
better - How does one do?

just
fine if there are no sub/superscripts. If there are any, graphics are
left much higher than they would need to be, resulting in ugly large
line-spacings. What happens if one crops these graphics manually?
