The PA-2A works I have used them and standard music speakers will work
though at lower output. Make sure what ever you use is water proof.

Are there any known tricks or failure points that are fixable on-site, or is my only
choice to swap it out for a repair at Panasonic?

Does anyone have an idea if Cisco ATA 186 can interface to CO line side,
generating DTMF to the KXTA308 for DISA extension select?
I need to connect 2 pabxs through an ethernet connection. Any other
manufacturer? 3Com ?

I believe that by placing the red rotary switch in the "2" position will
ensure the default com parameters are set, 9600 N81. Move the switch and
power cycle the system and pray that the 232 port comes back up.

It is unlikely that the serial port is bad. The EIA RS-232 standard
requires that any pin can be connected to any pin for any length of
time with no damage. It is VERY likely that the RS-232 port has
somehow been configured in a strange way, or that the cable has
