How can you change them? They are fixed and not reassignable?

I just spotted a KXT7433 in a commercial for Broadway.com!
The lady is listening to a poorly dubbed answering machine (tvs?), pressing
buttons on her 7433.
It goes by pretty fast but they do show the phone about 3 times.

Years ago I had to put a van in the shop for some work. They left the keys

As far as the Message Manager and System Manager mail box numbers go they
are assignable, i've already changed 998 to its new # of ext 132 & 999 to its
new ext. # of 120. 998 & 999 no longer exist.
Its the COS 63 & 64 thats not changeable.
(I changed 998 to ext. 132 thinking
I never heard of re-assigning the box number... sounds intriguing, need to
look into that.
But what I usually do is set the operator's mailbox to 101 or whatever the
best box is. That way only rare lost calls will ever get dumped in the
mess.manager's box and the operator will get the message ligh
