I buy my cables from JDR (www.jdr.com).
The one that works for the TVS-200 is part number CBL-9-NULL and connects
the 25 pin connector on the TVS-200 to the standard 9-pin connector on the
back of any laptop computer. Price is $ 3.97.
This cable DOES NOT work on the KX-TD1232.

Two different customer situations.
1. KX-TD1232-3 with KX-T197 internal modem card. After original installation, was
able to communicate using Progamator with no problem. Now, when I connect, I can read
PBX, but when I make a change, and send to PBX I get a box: Error in Cmd. D0 00 C3

If you are getting anything through at all, the speed is probably correct,
but other serial parameters may have to be adjusted.
In the process of upgrading or initially installing, one resets the KX-TD.
This changes the serial port configurations back to default. From memory

I had a KX-TD1232 installed at home, and like it a lot.
Unfortunately, the installer seems to have "gone AWOL"
Two questions:
1. We have 3 of the 7885 900MHz cordless units, but 2 of them seem to be
flaky.
Doesn't always come on; display flashes everything on and off; seems OK
but then
The 7885 bases must be separated by at least a few feet or the RF
interference, even when not in use, causes problems with these units. We
try to get at least six feet between them. Also, the higher up in the
building, the better the range. Try never to mount them in a basement
below grade. V

A residential customer has 3 mailboxes on his TVS-50/ 816,

When accessing the door intercoms through this 616, there is a loud squeal

You have the wrong router. The 2500 doesn't support VoIP.
If you had one of the Cisco routers that supports VoIP, then you would need
a VIC-BRI card for it, along with the correct IOS and DSP's.
