This works for the KX-T76xx handsets, but not for the KX-T7667 or the
KX-TCA256 handsets.
The 7667 only has 8 ring tones over here, and it's only really the pitch
that changes slightly.

The TCA256 (DECT) handset will only allow different tones for the following:
- External direct call
- Interna
You need to send the door to a different ICD group from the co lines.
Give it another button and then program the ring tone differently. In
the US, ring tone 20 is a door chime.
