The busy/no answer setting is supposed to make the FWD/DND LED flash. However, with a TVA50 connected you do not need to use the Busy/No Answer setting on the TA824 unless of course you want to forward to another extension. The TVA50 monitors the extensions via it's ports with APT for the num

Doing this combination for the first time.when I set the call forwarding for "busy/no answer" both the FWD/DND button and the DSS button for that station flash continuously. Two questions: why does the DSS button even do anything???what's the purpose? and is there an option to change from
