The "level" adjustment on the CSu is for the level of THE DIGITAL SIGNAL.
The level of the Digital Signal has NOTHING to do with the level of
each DS1.
The level of each, ANALOG signal that comes out of the MUX is whatever
it is set at
Most often -3 db, although it could be set to from -1
