You could have made a copy of the disk before it died. Since it's already
dead, there are several companies that sell replacement drives which will
even upgrade the unit to a TVS125. Try Communicator Tel in NY 800-777-1036
or Advanced Communications in CA 800-234-8228.

I had a similar case a while back. It looked like a power problem. It turned
out to be an expansion module on the first cabinet.

I did not realize the drive was still working. Make a copy while you can, it
takes about 20 minutes. Just copy to an identical drive.

answer to question 1- cannot be done. The TDA's cannot log all call's like a
TA624. You will need to use caller ID box.

Hi all- anyone know how the new kxtaw848 handles the caller ID log? Is it any
improvement over the kxta624 where you have to go through the entire cid log to get
back to the first entry?

Do they have any proprietary cordless phones? I had the exact same problem
at a home (this was also installed by another company) and they had set up 4
7895 bases in a row about 1 foot apart in the attic. When we disconnected
all but one cordless problem disappeared.

I've searched the archives and can't find this- Any opinions on the kxtd197 internal
modem versus a external modem for the kxtd1232? And what's the best external modem for
the kxtd1232 and the TVS's?
