The extension numbers are correct. You can dial 115 or 165 to reach
voicemail. (If you dial 116, you will get voicemail port 3, 167). You can
change the vm number from 165 to be something else too if you really want
to. If you alter 115 and 116, you may have to check carefully to make sure

Yes, you can program the phantom button sort of at will. Just be sure it appears on
at least one set, otherwise vm
will report the extension is not valid. and it can be at several sets at the same
time.
We do this all the time with "wife lines" we have a pool of phantoms (typ 20) that

Think I already know the answer to this one...
We've got a small group of part time workers who share cubicles and computers
and phones. I can assign each a phantom extension (haven't done this yet) for
their voicemail box, but it would be nice if they could also have that phantom
extension follo
I'm one of those masochists that reprograms the extension numbers corresponding
to KX-TD jacks. We tend to play musical chairs in this office and it's
actually easier (IMO) than moving loops on the phone board. Not too bad as
long as you remember to use extensions 265-290 as placeholders while yo

Hi All
We have just upgraded our KXTD 816 from a -3 to a -6 to take advantage of Panasonic's
TSP and hopefully benefit from a bit of CTI.
We are a small company - 6 users but many extensions i.e 32 - our 816 is maxed out!
We are looking for an affordable yet fairly comprehensive CTI suite and I

Could someone please give me a definiitive answer on this question. Will the
new new KX-TA 1232-2 do the following?
Will it support the new 7735 phone with name and phone number display on
Caller ID?
Will it also give Call Waiting Caller ID with the 7735.

That is correcta call can be transferred to a digital or Hybrid phone and
the call will appear on the ICM button. You can't call out without the CO
assigned on the phone but you CAN get transferred calls. We do that here with
fax line.

CP, Is that true? I thought if there was no co assigned it had NO access. So
I guess it receives it on the Icm path? I have installs w/ split tenants
that would benefit to transfer their lines once in a while!..
