my ability to backport to qt5 and the devs wouldn't. There does appear

This problems hits me while starting KDE (version 4.9.5 on kubuntu
12.10) with both network manager plasma widget and chromium: kwalletd
hangs and must be killed to get things working again :-(!

I can confirm the issue. It is easy to reproduce on my system, which has
an intel chipset and graphics card with analog and HDMI output. PA shows
a single "Built-in Audio device".

never fully moved in the first place. They ghosted in the original
folder, and the ghosts were copied.

Before I set DPI to 192, GTK based application had fonts that were way
too small: Remmina, Firefox, inkscape, etc.
While global scale settings seemed to work fine for KDE apps. It didn't
seem to be a true global scaling, else why was it not able to scale GTK
apps just the same as KDE

Same here, newly added places still vanish in Kubuntu 15.04 + Beta
Backport PPA.
However what works now is that I can move places in the list. E.g. move
one from the bottom to the top and that perserves restarts of Dolphin.

When I have a cifs share mounted and tell KDE to poweroff, it also hangs
like 2 minutes during shut down until it finally times out and turns
off. For some reasons the shares aren't properly dismounted hence the

because first openvpn gets closed before it tries to unmount networked
drives. On Kubuntu openvpn also comes with down-root plugin.

Workaround doesn't work in Kmail v5.7.3 because both password and connection
settings (to set to "plain") are disabled.
Even for a freshly created IMAP connection.
