This was resolved for me by removing the amdgpu packages. See

This broke gnucash for me after upgrading from Kubuntu 24.04.1 to Kubuntu
24.10. As soon as it opened the datafile it crashed with:

SUMMARY
When I search other entries in the clipboard show up causing artifacts this is
fixed when
~/.cache/plasmashell/qmlcache directory is cleared
I also think I saw this with the network manager while searching through
the wifi networks
