Indeed, my KR2 has got a very special electronic ignition, which I call
"solid state". And believe me, this has absolutely nothing to do with
standard electronic ignition as you know it.

That's not an electro/mechanical relay, is it?
At 3000 rpm it would have to cycle at 50 Hz! I guess that's possible and
the contacts would wear just like an old fashioned ignition system.
