Another very nice advantage to buying a relatively inexpensive Experimental is, unlike rental or shared-use aircraft . . . you never have to wonder how the previous pilot treated the plane or just what they did.  Obviously it works . . . rentals and shared airplanes . . . .   I rented for years

Smart airplane buyer!  He's got a plane that outperforms by a mile anything he could get that's factory built with an O-200 and a full panel.  Plus he can work on it himself and build ratings and time . . . there's just no end to the advantages of buying a well-built Experimental over something
