Hello ,
I purchased a flying kr2 approx 1 year ago . However i found out the prop
on the plane is not the one listed in the log book or the prop the plane
was registered and originally issued its airworthness certificarte with ,
so to aviod another faa inspection and all the wait since the flight
Kevin---I too have a 2100 revmaster but I use a 54X50 culver prop,
the reason for this posting is that a 42" pitch may be a little low for a
good cruise prop. I have no problem maintaining 3200 rpm in cruise flight
and 3400 full throttle. My climb is decent as well.

logs dont reflect the change , and it is,nt the pitch the aircraft was

the 5 hrs flying required , signoffs and new perf limitaions , i want to
put

Hello and thanks ,, all the IA's or a&p 's I,ve talked to check the pitch
and diameter of the prop ,, to make sure it matches the log books , or they
wont issue a condition inspection . Do you know of one that wont? If so let
me know. This could save me time and $$ , Thanks KevinAt 05:37 PM 9/13/03
