If your stub wing section top surface is 90 degrees to the side wall is best.
If your side wall tapers inward, wider at top tapering inward top to bottom
that leaves less than a 90 degree corner. So a slightly larger radius may help
fix that. If its 90 then a smaller radius should be fine. This

Someone asked the question about the possibility or benefit of fairing the
tailwheel. I haven't seen any takers on that, so I thought I'd throw out
something I just read in the Fall '03 issue of "To Fly" last night, about a
Thorp T-18 that a gent built and documented the performance c
Speaking of fairings and performance: Anyone have experience "dropping" a
lip from the lower cowl to let heat escape? Any design recommendations and
performance decrease / increase numbers?

No experience here whatsoever... just from what I've read about it and know
from theory. What you have inside the engine cowling is air that has
entered at a relatively high pressure and has gone through
oscar I have made a fairing for my kr2s tail wheel, could possably make a mold
to reproduce it for those intrested, will try to send a picture of it if you want
