As some of you may know, I have had a lot of experience with canopies. These are some of my observations. On my first KR, I used the stock clamshell style. That has to be the most simple to build and lightest that you can get away with, maybe other than one that is always open. I did not like

Does anyonw know how much Dart charge for a dragonfly canopy? I could not see any proces listed, apparently Janette Rand has a lightweight canopy for the KR2S to compete with the Dragonfly, so I have been told by other canopy manufactureres, but it seems she is in incommunicado. The RR one

Chris and others, Be creative. Look at the beautiful canopy that Dan and Jerry built. Consider the discarded Pulsar canopy that Larry Flesner used to build his plane. There are a lot of possibilities that are less expensive and more fun, plus make your KR a one-of-a-kind. Look at everything
