I got a set of Diehl wing skins with the KR-2 project
I just purchased and I need to store them. It occurs
to me that I could install some hooks in the garage
ceiling and string up four cargo straps -- enabling me
to raise and lower them as needed.
I am concerned that having them held by straps m
most wing racks hold the wings with the cord line upright,to inhibit bowing of
the wings
I am concerned that having them held by straps might
cause them to develop a permanent bend. Is that a
possibility -- and is it a problem?

We stored our finished wings, strapped to the ceiling with the leading edge
down, trailing edge up. I had a friend who stored scratch built wings in a

crate they arrived in, along with the outer spars, and have been kept in a
contolled environment ever since. i.e. not in the garage, but in the basement
in controlled humidity and controlled temperature and not expo
