I guess it's obvious from my recent posts that I've been thinking about the
KR1-B Motorglider. One of the things I asked my FSDO rep a few weeks ago
was "what defines whether an aircraft is a motorglider or not?". He didn't
know, but when I offered up the formula that I mentioned a few

Also you need to check with the Gliding/Soaring governing body as to
registration procedures.
Here, in Australia, gliding is controlled by GFA, who loosely answer to CASA
(general aviation authorities).
GFA sets the rules for registration and operation of all gliders.
