A buddy of mine told me how to build some cheap spring clamps. You take some 3" or 4" PVC and cut it into about 1.5" to 2" stips, then cut a slit into it. The 3" was a pretty tight clamp, also I used schedule 80 PVC. You can see them at http://www.angelfire.com/ok5/kr2s/wings.html ,still working
