Well, it appears I may have made a mistake, gluing the skins to the side of the
fuselage frame. I missed the step that said my scarf joint should align with a
vertical member (I don't know why that wasn't obvious to me).
Soany suggestions on how to fix this without ripping the skins off and
Not a big deal Nick. Just cut another verticle and glue it in behind the
scarf joint.

Soany suggestions on how to fix this without ripping the skins off and
reskinning?
What would be wrong with just adding a frame to the location where the scarf
join is??
But I have seen another flying KR that did not bother fixing the same
mistake.

I would probably just cut another verticle and glue behind the scarf joint.

I have always been told that a well made scarf joint was stronger than the
wood itself. That would be simple for you to test. If you are unsure, then
adding a vertical member should cover up the mistake. If it were mine,
there is NO way that I would take that apart, it looks good.

noticeable. If the scarf joint is good, you probably wouldn't need the
doubler, except for piece of mind.

The scarf joint is stronger than the plywood. Do not be
concerned about it. Over the upright only gave you a place
for the staples used in the scarf to go into. Virg

Thanks guys!! I'll think about my solution and implement it! It'll probably
be a piece of plywood on the inside!

scarf joints aligning.
I just added another vertical member or as the case on the
bottom, added another horizontal member. Not much weight
and a little strength added
