Probably not strong enough for the loads.The glass would cover up any

Just another crazy question, this time about landing gear. Has anyone tried or
thought about laminated wooden gear sandwiched or covered with fiberglass?
It is just a thought that crossed my mind. I don't know if it makes any sense
or would be strong enough but thought I would throw it out there
