The only things I occasionally like in Sport Aviation is the Experimenter section in the back. I used to subscribe to Experimenter, their publication for homebuilders, until they discontinued it. Sport Aviation seems to be mostly about restoring esoteric warbirds and giving plane rides to little

A recurring question on KRnet is how to glue urethane foam to urethane foam without a difficult-to-sand "hard" line resulting between the foam layers. I was reading the March 2019 KitPlanes and there's a pretty impressive four page story on using urethane glue and "lightweight spackling" in a

Gluing the foam to the wood for sanding is not critical. Whatever it takes, hot glue, epoxy, etc., to hold the foam in place for sanding. The critical part is the bonding of the glass cloth to the spars or other wood structure. Make sure the wood is clean and free of dust to insure the bes
