Derek, bear in mind that the distance between stick center lines changes
with the width of the boat. Mine are 15.5" on center (stock boat width)
while others (with wider fuselages) have up to 20".

Does anyone know anywhere to buy a Dual Stick Assembly for my KR-2? I don't

Thank you for your input. I guess I just forgot about the elbow. But with
the floor stick between my legs I used my leg to rest my elbow and in Don's
plane I remember a small arm rest. But I was thinking that I had some king
of mind telepathy going on here, HAHA. So, I guess I was correct

No. The standard KR setup is referred to as a "center stick". The
"side stick" referred to is mounted on the fuselage sidewall. The

Yes, I am sure that the geometry of the side stick or any location for
a stick would play heavily on the sensitivity of the control of the
plane. But from what I notice on Don's design was that there was not
enough room to allow the geometry of that installation to be improved.

I drew the 2nd set of plans that Ken used to sell on the KR1. I don't
remember a side stick. I guess it could have been on the very 1st set or
any other subsquent set of plans on the KR1 that I am not aware of. But it
was not on the set of plans that I provided for Ken.
I bought Don Betcha

I haven't read all the posts about the dual stick assembly so this may have
been mentioned...
Have you thought about installing a single, center stick and putting a 'T'
or 'Y' on top?
The Zeniths have this and apparently there is almost no time required to
adapt to it.
A thought.
