The subject recently came up of the aileron bell crank not fitting within the structure of the new wing. I came across a photo showing why I suggested the bell crank assembly could be compressed and still not cause interference of the cable crossover. Check it out. http://myplace.frontie

I apologize, I did leave a lot of the question out. My specific question should have been" With the pulley that you see in the video, do you believe that the bell crank will have enough travel to effectively move the aileron to full recommended deflection? Yes the other cable will be as recommen

I was able to keep the everything the same on my installation except I swapped the pulleys. This allowed me to have the cable higher since the rear spar is raised up on the New airfoil. You can see how I did it at mykitlog.com/vr6chris. Chris Pryce Burlington, NJ

Yes on the sarcasm. Lol. I prefer aluminum tube to side of bell crank next to spar. Or "pull-pull" cable. You will probably get several better ideas before long. I don't see how it would work as shown on video. Good luck. On Feb 18, 2016 12:54 PM, "Adam via KRnet" wrote: > Via Cable? Yes, or was

Netters, I am trying to help a French builder who needs an aluminium tube to make the aileron bell crank. The drawing calls for .125 wall, 1" x 2". We wanted to ordr it from Aircraft Spruce, but if I am not mistaken, they stock only square tubing. Any suggestions? Serge Vidal KR2 ZS-WEC Paris

My aileron bell cranks have been built with a sort of large aluminum spacer between the bell crank brackets and the WAFs. I suspect these brackets are redundant, because I can find no trace of them in the drawings; but I would like to make sure. Does anybody have some info about that? Serge Vi
