I just marked out the shape on the 3mm

Your plane sure looks nice.
Thanks I like the look of it too,
I'm using 5048 at the root and the 5046 at the tip.
The wings as you see them there still have to get the 8" tip extensions
added to them.

Nice work Gavin,
Soon you'll have to organize a "Down Under Gathering"

The fuel gauge is from the local marine shop, they come from the stainless
steel cruise tanks, it's called a sailmaster. Spruce sells something
similar, I've used these ones because everything I get from spruce seems
It's been raining here so I thought I'd do a little on my panel!! It's just
buffed aluminium at the moment but it will be black when finished.
Missing is the egt/cht gauge and a fuel pressure gauge.
you'll see in the pics that I haven't fitted the throttle, mixture and heat

Well I've settled on fuel gauges, they're are a little heavier than I would
have liked being all stainless construction, but for pure simplicity they are
tops!!
I'm intending to install them at the root of my outer wings and they'll be
flush with the surface, the idea is that I'll be able to se

Gav,
You might have to go into your photo album and change
the settings to "Public". Unless you do that it won't
let others into your albums.
By cutting and pasting the entire address, I did get
your album at:

Third time lucky.
Now I've activated public sharing.
