patience) will "flush-up" into the nose of the pants and actually take

Is it customary to leave wheel pants on in the winter months on a KR? I really
don't know, so I'm asking. Seems that at my airport wheel pants are removed on
all aircraft in the winter. And I would imagine that the lights would go
through abuse they were not designed for. Seems that every time I

I do the tanks (after I finish my BD4, I don't want two planes on the ground
out of the air) I think I will put them in the leading edge as well. Might

The most abused components on airplanes are tires and wheel pants. Even if you
don't operate off grass or dirt strips they just take a beating especially if
they are in the prop wash which basically means sand blasted. Already mentioned

The person, I'm getting my KR2 project from went the same route, though I
would really like to hear everyones opinion on this, as I was worried that a
wet runway would splash the inside of the wheel pants alot with water.
Thoughts?

immediately became apparent that this would become an expensive
(intimidating) process.
As I am in the process of adding wheel pants, I thought that perhaps a
