I have been trying to follow the gear reduction /
Tork / vs hourse power thread. Horse power should
basically be constant, that is just foot pounds of
energy per second... just the friction costs of the
reduction drive. Like my cordless dewalt drill can
still drive a screw in on

I guess ya haven't read about any of the failures on
the gear reductin units yet.
When I was test flying my first KR, the local FBO and AP, kept telling me
that and had my wife chanting that mantra. Sure glad that I did not listen
to either of them.

Forget about what the A&P EAA guy told you (Its just as you said a fly in
