My plane came from MI to AZ through the worst snowstorm to hit the
Midwest in 80 years. It showed up ony door step with snow still on

Whatever you do, do NOT tie the airframe directly to the trailer. Use tire
straps to hold the tires to the bed of the trailer. Let the tires and
spring gear cushion the airframe just the way they were designed to do. For
a approximately 700 pound aircraft use the lightest trailer you can find
A KR2 trailered to my local airport took a rock through the canopy
during the trip. Unfortunately, the rock won.
