Is the Prop Bank still active/up-to-date and how do I access it? I would
also like to get the benefit of experience from those that have tried
different props on a KR-2 with a Revmaster 2100D. I was thinking 52X50, but
would
appreciate any advice.

See http://www.krnet.org/propbank/ for what's in the bank. The 52 x 47

Netters,
I've been thinking the same thing for a while because I hope to take
advantage of the prop bank next year when mine is flying (of course, now I'm

Mark,
It might be a good idea to build a web page describing the program,
including your address, paypal instructions, and maybe even photes of the
props in inventory. This page could then be per

Gentlemen.
The funds for the propeller bank are growing at a snails pace. Only three
people have made donations towards the prop bank since I took over the project
from Mark Langford. There is a balance of $620 in the prop bank fund. We sure

I thought we would just make our donations at the

I don't mind but remember that we already have the usual "beg for funds"
for next year

The prop bank faces a couple potential problems:
1. Revmaster and Continental use a size 1 hub, all other VW engines use a
size 0 hub.
2. Continental and the GP rear drive require props that rotate in the
opposite direction from other VW engines.

I have taken the reigns on the prop bank. If you have a prop you wish to donate
to the prop bank, please let me know.
I will inventory the props here at my house and will ship and track each one as
it is shipped out. This will work kind of like a library with a required,
refundable deposit on th
Mark,
I think a prop bank where one person handles it and has the stock is the
best way to go. This person will have everything organized and be familiar
with inventory, packing, shipping, and handling the financial issues.
Otherwise, it will be hit or miss. What we need is one of those ground

The problem with most ground adjustable props is that the twist on the blade
remains the same, and the entire blade is twisted to adjust the pitch. That
makes them
Are you accepting contributions to the prop bank and where do we send the

A few months ago we took up a collection for a "prop fund", a sort of KR
prop bank where folks could swap, trade, sell, or buy a KR prop that didn't
quite work on one KR, but might be dandy on another. I collected about $550
to get the thing rolling, but I've yet to buy a
