Mark, those are great pictures. I was amazed to see the pallet
platform to load the plane. Very ingenious. Do keep us informed
on the cause of your problem. It may help prevent it happening
to someone else.

Did you get the e-mail with Glidden's pictures. I tried to send them to
him, but it didn't go. Tried to send them to the site, rejected, waiting
on mediator or some such stuff

Hey Mark,
Just put a couple of the bullet hole decals over the runs, then people will
think you are a fighter Pilot!
Tell them you got those just after a spraying run! LOL

Wicks Aircraft has what appears to be a nice earlier picture of Mark Jones'
and his KR2S on its website. As most know, also a picture on the front
cover of their catalog.

Mark,
If I remember correctly the Corvair College is this
coming weekend. Florida is a long drive, and my
Mankato Mn chapter 642 meeting is this weekend, but
the temptation is strong. I have a half built tail
dragger KR2 plus a Corvair engine sitting in a crate /
box in my quonset.

Question for Mark J.-
Knowing that Mark L. has allowed for some adjustment in his horizontal stab
for nose up/down trim, what has your experience been with the flights you've
made so far? You have a MAC trim or similar, right? Has it trimmed out
pretty level? Trim setting at cruise anywhere

Hi Mark - Glad to see you out flying. You seem to have the same problem
with the elevator trim that I had...you almost dont need it. People thought I
was screwy when I mentioned that I did the first flight without ever touching
the trim - from takoff to touchdown. Only at full cruise do I
You know, the doggone list administrator (Langford) just can't be caught. I
thought I'd find Mark Jones' KR still on the "under construction" column on
the www.krnet.org website, but the net admin is too quick. Jones' KR is
already on the "flying KRs" list.
I guess I could have checked on Sun

I guess I could have checked on Sunday afternoon and caught Langford lagging
on updating the list. Next time ;o)
Oscar,
I did check on Sunday afternoon and it was done. I can't remember the time,
but I was impressed. Way to go Mark L.

I think you only 1/3rd flew. It's hard to halfway fly when you have
three wheels. ;)

My VW engine was given to me by a friend in So. Mississippi. It came with a
prop on it. The engine was originally in a KR1. I have a Sterba (?) 54 x 54
prop on this engine now. (length & pitch subject to change). I am not sure what
the length and pitch of the old prop is as it is at the airport
Hi Mark
Your provider is bouncing my emails regarding the Weber as is Larry's regarding
my canopy. What am I doing wrong? why should my provider be getting blocked?
Does your provider use Road Runner as well? Sorry folks this is getting rather
annoying...can't you get the Coyote to fix it over

I finally have some information about the problem. Road Runner and others
