To each his own, but I do not recommend it. Having built one with the side
tilt and one with a "gull wing", if I were to do it again, I would use the
forward tilt, for many reasons already given on this forum.
PS: I just deleted what seemed like a meg of left over discussion from the

're: canopy
I own an Ercoupe and my friend Richard and I have been discussing the idea
of making his canopy similar to my Ercoupe, which both sides slide down.
Any thoughts on this?
