Save yourself a lot of aggravation and get a set of Matco 5X5. You will love

That's a good idea Don, but I am afraid to cut anything from the poor drums
because it looks razerthin on the drum walls... I can't believe RR has made
and sold such crapy parts to the experimental aircraft market

You could chuck your drums up in a lathe and do a light cut and true them
up and hold better on run up. Worked for me
