Why did you decide not to use the airfoil on the stab? Your process is well
documented on your site.

Nice job Dean -I was taught in the dark ages that aerodynamic balance was
used to reduce aerodynamic loads.How does this work out where the plane is
already sensitive in pitch? -

I guess the short answer is personal preference. My "mission statement" for
my KR is to build it as stock and light as possible. Besides the engine
selection, I am only planning three structural mods: 1) Aerodynamic
balan
Netters,
I came home from the Gathering pumped and set out to make good progress on
my KR (in between dodging hurricanes). I've spent the last 2 weeks working
hard on my horizontal stabilizer. It never goes as fast as you would hope.
