This is sad news. I had the pleasure of getting to know Ray over the
last two years. We flew together (commercial) to the 2007 Gathering and
he was truly a KR fanatic in the nicest way.

Yes. I know Ray. He was at last years gathering, the same as always. I
think he was in partners with his brother on the KR. He was a very
enthusiastic builder, and like most of us, when we were still building, he
believed that Next Year, would be the year that he would fly his KR. I am
saddened
Many of you will remember Ray Goree. He made several of the Gatherings, and
was a quiet but thoughtful guy, always having something positive to say. See
