I was busy rigging my flight controls today and I've got the ailerons and the rudder all set but my stab is supposed to be 30 up and 20 down but instead I can only get 25 up and 20 down. Will that be enough? And will the FAA inspector allow that to be off from the plans. Thanks, Dan

Don't know if that is enough for all situations and would be concerned as to why. As far as the inspector is concerned, I doubt that he will have any idea what it should be unless you tell him. But, again, I would be concerned why you only have 25 up and 20 down. There is a time for building and

Netters: My inspector checked the deflection of not just the elevator, but the ailerons and rudder also. And...he insisted they be adjusted according to the plans. Also, I use full aft stick on landing in order to hold the nose gear off as long as possible. If I didn't have the full
