Given that the EA81 makes best power around 4800 rpm, direct drive probably not a real good idea, a reduction of about 2:1 brings prop rpm down and a good belt or gear drive will also take the thrust saving the engine bearings considerable loading. I've got an EA81 turbo with NSI cam, Ellison EF
