I was able to get to the airport this morning, for the first time since the
last flight when the engine was not developing full power. First I ran it
up to see what it would turn. 3200 RPM. It was a bit hard to start, and I
noticed that a couple of cylinders seemed weak when turning the prop th

Whilst not particularly inspiring, that's not unusual for a VW, once
turned thru a few blades and getting some fuel in the compression comes
right up. Try it again after a couple of mins running and it will be fine.
