Bill Clapp now has 22 hours on his KR2S with no problems. He's already had it up to 10,500 feet and it would still turn 3600 rpm, with lots of climb rate left. Looks like he'll make it to the Gathering, weather permitting. My rudder is now installed, "final" tailwheel installation by lunchtime,

Is this the same Bill Clapp that used to work for NWA back in 88?? I met a Bill, back then that had a Turbo KR2. I made a trip to the airport today and set the plane up to fly, checked radio's, preflight and the like and the winds were 90 degrees across the runway at 17 knots. Came back home O
