On that subject, to those running any kind of 5th bearing, is there any reason not to run an aluminum line from the bearing to the oil port? I know most "aircraft" engines with prop governors run stainless lines. A 3/8" aluminum line has a rated burst pressure of 300 psi or so (and that's with a 2

I have started installing the new Corvair Engine on the Little Beast, which is being parted out, except the fuselage. So while it is still in the shop on the gear, I am putting her to good use as a test bed for the installation of the new Corvair engine. You can see the full story at: http:/
