That is one beautiful airplane. Does it have a speed brake? If not, what is
the handle in the center, for? What is the purpose of the scoop on top of
the cowl? Has he put the wheel pants on it yet, I see that the brackets are
on.? What is the engine?

The engine is a Greatplains.
The scoop on the top... he told me, but I cannot remember, so I'll ask him

The wheel pants are on, now.
And, yes, it has the speed brake.
