There is a mandate that the FAA guarantee low interest loans for some ADS-B
equipment. Funny thing about loans. You still have to pay them back.
Additionally, while they are supposed to be a guarantor for loans, there isn't
any funding, nor an application process in place at this time. Note
I may find that I am
misinformed but rumor at Oshkosh is that the FAA may help finance the upcoming
equipment requirement. Someone else may have more information on this plan if
it is true.
