My Dan Diehl skins do not have the spar all the way, and have a foam ply
extension.
I know is not a 2S but they may do a similar thing ???

You may have a set of DD wing skins they are about 14 inches longer.
The spars do not extend to the wingtip, they stop about 14in before the end.
