I am running one on my Hummel ultracruiser with a 2180 VW. Have 100 hours on
it with no problems. Im not in love with the mixture control setup, must be
reset for any throttle change. Its very simple, almost to simple but I think I
will probably put one on my KR when its time for the carb.
I am in Sarasota Florida, currently I am building an oven an am going to try to
blow the canopy a little taller so I can fit in it.

I obtained a Kr1 project that flew once but was underpowered with a 1600cc
Volkswagen engine, carb seemed a little small too. I am planning on going with
an 1835 and would like to keep it light with no starter but I have heard some
talk about the volkswagen and short prop being pretty risky. S
